Terms of Service

1. The Service & alpha status

Chakra Online is currently in a closed alpha. The Service is provided on an evolving basis: features, content, virtual items, balance, pricing and availability may change, be reset, or be discontinued at any time, with or without notice. Alpha data (characters, progress, items, balances) may be wiped before or during launch.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to create an account. If you are a minor, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for your use of the Service and any purchases.

3. Your account

• Provide accurate information, including a valid email address for account confirmation and important notices.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• One person should not operate accounts in a way that abuses promotions, rewards, or fair play.
• Tell us promptly (via the contacts below) if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable conduct

When using the Service you agree not to:

• cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorized third-party tools, bots, or automation, or modify the client;
• harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm other players, or post unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• buy, sell, or transfer accounts or virtual items for real-world value outside the Service;
• break any applicable law.

We may issue warnings, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these rules or harm the community, at our discretion.

5. Virtual items & currency

The Service may offer virtual currency (Chakra Crystals), a VIP membership, and cosmetic items. These are licensed to you for use within the Game only. They:

• have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash;
• are non-transferable and grant no ownership rights;
• may be changed, re-priced, suspended, or removed, and may expire if your account is closed;
• are designed to be cosmetic or convenience-based — we aim never to sell unfair competitive advantage (“no pay-to-win”).

Free promotional rewards (such as daily Crystals) are a courtesy and may be changed or ended at any time.

6. Purchases & payments

Paid items are sold and processed by our payment provider, Coda Payments, which acts as merchant of record. Prices are shown before purchase and may include applicable taxes. Virtual currency and items are delivered to your account electronically. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and by applicable consumer-protection law.

7. Intellectual property & fan-project notice

Chakra Online is a free, non-commercial fan project inspired by the classic online game Naruto: Gates of Ages. Naruto and related characters are © Masashi Kishimoto / Shueisha. This project is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any rights holder. All third-party trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective owners. Our own original code, art, and assets remain ours; you receive only a limited, personal licence to use them through the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that progress and items will be preserved, especially during alpha.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, progress, or virtual items. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

10. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your characters at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the Service and its players. On termination, your licence to virtual items ends.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, by notice in-game or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Publisher's jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
